Guest lecture: Securities Financing Transactions / Andrea Topic (National Bank of Canada)

We are proudly inviting you to a lecture given by our Alumna Andrea Topić, currently Director, Regulatory and Optimization at the National Bank of Canada, one of the largest Canadian banks.

Being an expert in trade structuring, optimization of SFT trades in terms of capital, liquidity and other regulatory measures, onboarding of new business pipelines such as exchange and clearing memberships as well as advising management when it comes to European prudential regulation (CRR II, CRD V), Andrea’s lecture will show you how international financial institutions use optimization to manage their assets and invest money in securities, while respecting the regulatory framework.

The guest lecture will be given on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 starting at 15:00 h as part of International Financial Management class, but is open to the public as well.

Lecture title: Securities Financing Transactions
The lecture will take place in D8 lecture room at the Faculty of Economics, Business and Tourism, Split (Cvite Fiskovića 5), but will be streamed via Zoom as well.
